Building Future Economists...
Recruitment Opening Soon
Applications for Eco Shastra 2026 will be opening soon. Get ready to become a part of the Economics Society of Sri Aurobindo College (Evening).
Eco Shastra was founded in 2017 with a simple belief: economics is more than graphs and models—it's history, society, and human behaviour shaping the world around us. While rooted in economics, we welcome anyone who is curious to understand how the world works.
Through seminars, webinars, panel discussions, workshops, and flagship events, we encourage meaningful conversations around real-world economic issues—from inflation and trade to public policy and global markets. Our aim is to make economics engaging, accessible, and relevant beyond the classroom.
More than just a student society, Eco Shastra is a community that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership. It is a space where ideas are exchanged, perspectives grow, and students learn from one another while building skills that extend far beyond academics.
A student-led council driving every event, idea and initiative across the society.
Every Eco Shastra event is built by a network of focused departments working in sync.
The Content Department creates well-researched and engaging content for events, articles, and digital platforms. By simplifying economic concepts and supporting seminars, webinars, and flagship events, it helps strengthen Eco Shastra's identity while making learning meaningful and accessible.
The Graphics Department brings Eco Shastra's ideas to life through impactful visuals. From posters and social media creatives to event branding, we design content that communicates ideas in a creative, engaging, and professional way.
The Marketing Department works on creative strategies to strengthen Eco Shastra's presence across the University of Delhi. From promoting events to increasing student engagement, we focus on connecting the society with the campus community through effective communication and outreach.
The PR Department builds meaningful partnerships through sponsorships, collaborations, promotional initiatives, and external outreach. By connecting Eco Shastra with organizations and opportunities, the department helps expand the society's reach and impact.
The Creative Department transforms ideas into compelling visual stories. From posters and reels to creative campaigns, it ensures every Eco Shastra initiative is presented with creativity, purpose, and impact.
